Privacy and cookies

The short version: the calculators run in your browser, and we do not collect what you type into them.

Who we are

AfC Pay ("we") runs this website. For any privacy question, contact us at info@afcpay.co.uk.

What you type into the calculators

The calculators work out your result in your own browser. The bands, hours, loan plans and other details you enter are not sent to us, not stored on a server, and not shared with anyone. Closing the page clears them.

Cookies and tracking

This site does not set any cookies and does not store anything in your browser. We do not use advertising or social media tracking. The site's fonts are served from our own pages, not from a third party.

Analytics

We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to see how many people visit, which pages they read, which sites send them to us, roughly which country they are in, what browser and device they use, and how quickly pages load. Cloudflare says this service does not use cookies or local storage to collect those figures, and that it does not fingerprint individuals. It loads a small script from static.cloudflareinsights.com when you open a page. The figures are used in aggregate, to fix problems and decide what to write next.

If we add advertising or any analytics that uses cookies in future, we will update this page first and, where the law requires it, ask for your consent before any non-essential cookie or similar technology is used.

Information our hosting provider processes

The site is delivered by Cloudflare. When you visit, Cloudflare necessarily processes technical information such as your IP address, browser type and the pages requested, in order to deliver the site and protect it from abuse. See Cloudflare's privacy policy. We do not use that information to identify you.

If you email us

If you contact us, we use your email address and message only to reply and, where relevant, to correct the site. We keep correspondence for as long as needed to deal with it and to keep a record of corrections, and we do not sell or share it. Our lawful basis is our legitimate interest in running and improving the site.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law you can ask to see, correct or delete any personal information we hold about you, and you can object to how we use it. Email us to do so. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.

External links

We link to official sites such as GOV.UK and NHS Employers. They have their own privacy policies, and we are not responsible for them.

Changes

We will post any change here with a new date. See also our terms and disclaimer.
